Every Monday and Tuesday afternoon, we spend an hour having a 'roundtable'. This can sometimes be a bit frustrating when we are in the flow of work and learning new things and have to stop to have a chat, but it is an opportunity for us to reflect on the work, on our different approaches, specific problems, cultural differences, personal differences.
I always feel at the end how grateful I am to work for Hearts and Minds, and with such a wonderful group of Clowns/Friends, whom I trust and can communicate with so freely and openly. The support and integration with the office, the variety of units we go to, the time taken to arrange social time together as well as rehearsal time, regular Team Facilitations, decent pay, the flexibility of the rota, high level of professionalism. Yep. I'm feeling the love for Hearts and Minds.
Here are some photos of me doing an improv with Xavi where he became 'contaminated' by a shower sponge and in trying to help him out, I also became contaminated. And I can call this my job. What a lucky woman I am.
